Ernie has several sources for tobacco, but Sutliff is the main one. I imagine a lot of blenders and B&Ms are concerned about what may happen. I don't think anything will in the immediate short term, but given STG's track record, there's every reason to be nervous. That's why I prompt people to buy what you can right now or risk events like what happened to SRW, Carter Hall, and all blends made by K (formerly K&K) and Esoterica. Or have your favorite B&M blends completely disappear.Your patient effort has been worth it! Despite the higher cost compared to the remaining codger burley-heavy blends, this is set to become my mainstay in the genre. That natural cocoa note is a thing of beauty.
I would not think to ask you to divulge the recipe. I can pick out some of the varietals, but they work so well together that they are not easily distinguished in the flavor or by scent.
I hope WCC’s house blends will be safe after STG’s purchase of MacBaren. I have heard that they get their component tobaccos from Sutliff.
You have to buy it at the store, or have it mailed to you only if you have a German address.Quick question: I’ve seen Huber Virginia Golden Flake mentioned a lot, still not available to ship to the US?
Yeah Jersey can get humid and hot.It is miserable here in central NJ also, hot and humid but if I can't sit out on the deck in the open air or walk around I don't smoke.
That’s too bad, but thank you for verifying. Is there another blend that’s very similar to it? Comparing both reviews of Huber VGS and Newminster 400, and comparing that with my tastes of Newm 400, they sound similar. Maybe this isn’t true though? You have to buy it at the store, or have it mailed to you only if you have a German address.

I just read Jim's response. Scratch that.Try Estervals
I checked anyway, they don’t have it. Hopefully there’s something really similar, because everyone seems to rave about it. As a lover of Virginias…I just read Jim's response. Scratch that.
