I picked up this little Meer a few months ago and only smoked it once. It’s practically new and has very little color. I have a little time this morning for a smoke so I decided to smoking it and work on developing some patina.
The case has a sticker inside that reads I K Meerschaum. Smoking’ 2021C&D cube cut burley.

I'm a little curious. Do you know what is written on your Japanese style tea cup? If you're not a strict monotheist, it's nothing.

I don’t know what is inscribed.
When I was in Japan training with the Japanese army many years ago circa 2003, I picked this up while I was there. Been drinking tea out of it for quite a while.
So, now that you’ve sparked my interest, what does it say?
I picked up this teapot and cup while I was it in Uzbekistan on a Graduate Course, Country Study while in the Army. Really like this one.
