Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and sugar snap peas dinner with a slice of pecan Danish Kringle and a small bowl of the last of the butter pecan ice cream for dessert. I've passed the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2014 HU Directors Cut in a 2000s brown quarter bend sandblast Pierluigi 140 brandy military mount with a silver cap and a caramel acrylic saddle stem. Haven't smoked this pipe in a long time. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

I had ordered 16 oz of Ennerdale and 500 g of North Star from a popular online retailer. When they arrived I saw the bag of North Star was open. Since I was suspicious I weighed the bag and it was only 453 g.
I am not going to contact customer service for the missing 59g but the employee who did this should not have done this.

Decided to have a nice mid week pipe. Fired up the Rubio again with first time smoke of PS LBF. Really enjoyed it. Very tasty.

A decent, easy smoking, Virginia. The licorice is very subdued and functions more as a compliment to the tobacco than as a distinct flavor. Definitely a tobacco forward blend. Could easily be an all day smoke.

Dunhill Nightcap in a Dunhill Liverpool
First bowl of a freshly cracked tin of Mac Baren Original Choice. This was the first pipe tobacco I ever smoked, and this is the first time having it since that first tin back in early 2019. This is also the first time I've used the word first so many times in the first place. 
And on that note, I'll shut up now...pipe was the Savinelli Mattone 614 faux-Hungarian. Brought back some nice memories for me. 9/10
Bird report: California towhee, White-crowned sparrow, Dark-eyed junco, Chipping sparrow, Sage sparrow (first sighting!), California scrub-jay, Northern flicker, American crow, Hairy woodpecker, White-breasted nuthatch, Mountain chickadee, House finch, and Oak titmouse.

Just finished a wonderful bowl of Boswell’s Northwoods in my LCS Briars bent Billiard. I had an ‘oh crap’ moment when I remembered that Boswell’s may have been dependent on Sutliff and ordered another half pound of Northwoods. Anyone know if they expect changes?
