I've been putting my new meerschaum Falcon bowl to great use today, first smoking War Horse Bar, then War Horse Green, and now winding down with some Lane RLP-6.

For smoking on walks with my meerschaum bowl equipped Falcon I decided the most sensible thing to do was to just put it on a neck lanyard, so if I accidentally drop the pipe (which is something I'm prone to doing) it won't end up hitting the ground and breaking the bowl. It might look a touch silly, but it sure beats spending every walk worrying about dropping the pipe and breaking the meerschaum bowl!

I just got one of these Falcon meerschaum bowls myself, and it's brilliant! Where did you get yours? I'm trying to figure out what to load in it next. It's looking like either HH Burley Flake or OJK.

Cleaned a few pipes, and am a quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2018 Sutliff Dunhill Elizabethan Match in a straight smooth brown 1960s-70s BBB Own Make 506 Canadian with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem.

I just got one of these Falcon meerschaum bowls myself, and it's brilliant! Where did you get yours? I'm trying to figure out what to load in it next. It's looking like either HH Burley Flake or OJK.

I got mine from Calabash Pipes Wolrd, a store out of Turkey that has a pretty huge selection of hand carved block meerschaum Falcon bowls. Just give 'em a quick Google search and you'll find them, since I don't think we're allowed to link to retailers who aren't site sponsors on here.

Nice! I had ordered mine from the Happy Piper out of Wisconsin. He posted a video about it with some other Meerschaum bowls, and I didn't know if that was one of them! I'll have to check out that site for sure.

Now smoking year 2016 Peter Heinrichs Special Curly in the first pipe Trever Talbot made when he went to France many years ago. It's a smooth straight Algerian briar Lumberman with a long shank and a black vulcanite saddle stem, unbranded.
