Great post, but better placed in Sasieni thread or general pipe discussion.

The pipe I was expecting on Monday finally arrived, I’ve been saving for one of these and when this popped up I knew I’d found the one I was looking for. Fortunately the seller in Italy was open to offers and I got it for far less than it would have sold for in the US or even here in the UK.

A pre-patent Sasieni One Dot, shape No 30 in amazing condition, it’s barely smoked with no knocks or scratches visible to the naked eye. Being a pre-patent I think this can be dated from between 1919- 23/4.

This is now the third Sasieni in my collection and I’m enamoured with them, so much so that I intend to sell off a lot of my other pipes (excluding Kaywoodie and pre WWII British wood) in order to concentrate more on this brand, including second’s of which there are many.

Inaugural smoke will be PS Bullseye Flake. 04B223AD-6CFB-4215-9AF8-9B5823800943.jpeg6ECF0AC8-6CA0-40CF-AA38-825E4E19C301.jpeg4C7E81C2-38E6-4C78-A463-984BB2CFDE66.jpeg0D6F1EE1-E49E-49DF-9A49-386483C70F25.jpeg

Would you please clarify what you mean by "long screeds of any type"?

Is the issue length? I assume so since a screed is a long piece; I guess a long screed is a long, long piece. Does "... of any type" include on-topic posts? How long is too long, give or take?

Thanks
I leave it to the individual to figure it out for himself.

This is not the place for such discussions. You could create a new topic elsewhere, but I am not encouraging you to do so.
