North Georgia mountains.
How did you figure out the unmarked pipe was Ian Fisher?
He's doing some work for me and I noticed a picture in his Instagram from a while back that looked familiar. Days later it hit me, that was the pipe. I asked him about it and he said he made it before he had a stamp. It now makes sense that this wasn't just a nice basket pipe. The stem work, drilling, everything about it is great. Perfect traveling pipe.
And this is why I set a small budget aside strictly for bargain bins at shows.

Walked trails with a buddy this morning and enjoyed some Burleys - London Blend from 2013 and House Reserve (Spring '22 edition). Smoked from my TSS Bermuda BBB from the 1930s and this unmarked sandblast that turned out to be made by Ian Fisher. Was a nice surprise finding that out after buying it from a bargain bin at a show last yearView attachment 287341View attachment 287342
Glad to hear that that beautiful pipe has been identified! But who is Ian Fisher and how did you find out it was him who made it?
