I think you do enough litter patrols to offset your tobacco purchases, Dan. But send an email to MacBaren and ask them to offer the flake in pound packages! A bulk package would probably reduce waste, too.
@Country Bladesmith I don't smoke a clay pipe while out litter picking in case I break it; that's happened to me before:)
Still not buying any more St Bruno Flake though as part of my plastic reduction strategy!

Trying out a 1:1 mix of Stokkebye's Luxury Navy Flake and Luxury Twist Flake in the SMS meerschaum after seeing it recommended here. Tastes pretty good. I wasn't a huge fan of LNF when I first tried it, but now that my supply has a couple years on it I'm liking it more and more. Probably time to pick up a 24oz box and let it age for a while.

Just finished smoking year 2018 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad.

@chasingembers I think it should be sold in tins in the UK as well. My dad used to smoke ryo cigs and still has some old tins he uses for bits and pieces; when I was in school we all had old tobacco tins for our wax crayons.
Seen an old St Bruno Flake tin on the flea market last week; definitely a big step backwards:-(

@Country Bladesmith I'm going to decorate my recycling box using logos and images from plastic packaging; it will definitely be getting some Condors on it!
