Good morning everyone, I started with C&D Golden Days in the Brown leather bent Longchamp.
I just got a couple of estate pipes in the mail, the bent bulldog is a Tanganyikan Kiko with meer lining.
Now I love a the old quirky pipes that are obviously a product of their time and the Jima is no exception. I like to think that whoever designed this pipe went on to design my grandparents Formica dining room table and chairs in the 60’s. I’m gonna have some Pete’s Navy Rolls for its first smoke.
Good Day Folks, Hal O'The Wynd in a Blakemar. 100% Colombian machine coffee. 63°F sunny. Listening to BBC Radio 4. Getting fed up of repeating the same blends all the time, waiting for a tobacco delivery, of the same blends.
I must say this Jima smokes beautifully, it’s got a Meer bowl and a strange twisted metal “electromagnetic” filter that I’m gonna have to clean because I can’t find more online. I’ll post a pic when it’s cooled down after I finish these DNR’s.
St Ives in a smooth Billiard with vulcanite stem, stamped only Vittoria (no Rossi). Looks more like a Savinelli second than a "second line". Not that I have anything against Rossi... they're great smokers too, but this thing slaps like a punto oro reject.
