C&D Tuggle Hall, an English blend with burley, in a Yello-Bole straight saddle stem panel Checker (carved geometrics on bowl). I dig these old American factory pipes. Generally, they smoke as well as any, don't cost much, and have an aura all their own, like 1950's American cars. This one has a square stem which adds to the charm.

2008 Dark Birdseye in a Scottie Swizel Stick. Purchased this from her at the 2019 Chicago Pipe Show. Said she wanted to see how thin she could go on the shank. I have a proclivity for delicate pipes. Pairs well with a stouter blends.

Is that shank all briar or does it have a metal shaft through it?

Mac Baren HH Pure Virginia in a Cobbit Wizard I just received today. Anything special to do to a cob to break it in? I torched the inside of the bowl a bit as it looked raw.

Nope. Just smoke it. Cob break in is almost a non issue.
