End Of The Tether,by Joseph Conrad.
I reccomend Lord Jim to any beginning Conrad reader. You're quite the Conrad reader of late it seems! "The Duel" and "Lord Jim" are classics!
Alone in the Wilderness sucks me in every time I see it. The books do the same. https://richardproennekestore.com/shopI need to check them out. I've watched Alone in the Wilderness many times. Love that his cabin has been preserved.
Le pipe, mie figlie by Franco Coppo
man was a legend - he came from an efficient German upbringing to which he muttered "why try?" He must've foreseen the future of the Post Office ?Charles bukowski, always bet on the muse. You want extreme, check this guy out. Fascinating. I would recommend notes of a dirty old man.
To the First one : The review on Amazon was Better "Have you ever gone to a tourist trap, thinking “I’m finally going to see this place”, only to get there a find out that there’s really nothing to see? You get there, you look over a guardrail at the place you thought you’d be able to explore and experience, only to find that you can only look at it from a distance, and then there’s nothing else to do but get back in your car and go home."This was very good.
