Chin up though, at the rate this box is moving you might just be set for the next round :lol: Shipping was slightly under $20 for me, so it's not too burdensome.

I have been to Burlington on Whyte many times. Love walking in the store, the smell is brilliant. As a new pipe smoker, the staff there have helped out lots already. Wish they had a few more tinned tobacco's though.

Worst case i may be able to help start a new box if this one is lost. but if we dont get a reply from hunter we may have to exclude him. Im not pointing fingers but i believe communication plays a big role in this sort of thing. So as i said i will try to see if i can put together a decent Box Pass Stash to get this thing going once again.
I just sent Shmitzbitz a PM asking if he'd like to pass on the box pass mantle. Matt, given your note I think it's time to refresh the subscriber list and press the "replay" button. If you want to champion the box pass that'd be a-ok with me, I'd also be happy to help. Smokey's and my workplaces are about 10km apart, so maybe it makes sense for us to kickstart the new box, and send it to you to start the new route?

Okay, these Canadian box pass rules have been posted several times in this thread but it's worth posting again...
* Must be a member for minimum of 6 months or have a well established member vouch for you.
* Have at least 100 posts
* Provide all your contact info including phone number to box co-ordinator
* Currently living within Canada
* Have the financial means to pay for shipping a box across the country with tracking/delivery confirmation.
* Must agree to purchase tracking/delivery confirmation.
* Post pictures upon receipt.
Since we are starting a new pass, please PM me your full contact info and forum handle to be added to the new list that I'll be creating today. Make sure you qualify to participate as per the rules stated.
One thing I think would be very helpful- if you live nearby a fellow forum member, and you both are in the box pass, please let me know if you will be handing the box off in person. I will still add both addresses to the list, but we still need to know when and where the box is passed so we all know what's going on. Please confirm the pass here as if it was shipped to you.
The box tends to grow quite a bit as it goes along, so to reiterate, don't be shy about taking the last sample of something- especially if it appears to be getting crispy. The whole point is to take as well as add, it's all good!
If you anticipate any issues with getting the box sent back out around the time it's your turn (Vacation? Moving? etc...), please let me know. We can always adjust the list as needed.

sounds good to me Gents i have my share of baccy and pipes i can contribute to a new pass just say the word and will meet up.
Preparing for a new box pass is not a bad idea, but perhaps we should wait for a response from the last known member that was to receive the box and see what is up? I know sometimes "life happens" and things get messed up for a time. Perhaps there is a legit reason for the delay?
Also, perhaps a new thread is warranted if we go ahead with a new box pass as well as a stricter adherence to the rules established for joining the Canadian Box Pass.
Just some thoughts that have crossed my mind while reading recent posts.
