Hey Buddy just wondering if you received the box its been a long while since i sent it and we have yet to receive confirmation besides the tracking number saying it was delivered successfully. it would put my mind at ease if you mention that you received the package being i was the last one known to have it.

Ok Gents, the box arrived yesterday safe & sound. Unfortunately I'm not at home so I won't be able to dive in until next Monday. I will do so as soon as I can and I have a few treats to add to the box myself.

Hi guys I am new on this board and noticed this is where some of my fellow Canadians hang out I am new to pipe smoking been more of cigar smoker. But lately been enjoying smoking a good pipe which seems to run in the family with my grandfather who smoked the old fashion clay pipes back in the old country of Italy. Been smoking Mac Baren's Mixture Scottish Blend and enjoying it but I am looking to try an English blend any ideas which blends I should try? And what are your thoughts of house blend version from the pipe tobacco stores. I live in Montreal and we have one or two major pipe tobacco stores that have their own house blend that I am thinking of trying out.

Go for it, the house blends though at my tobacconist though are basically a bunch of leftovers they throw together or stuff that isn't selling and then throw a name on it. It's not bad but it's not something I go out of my way to cherish. If there's an actual custom house blend though, try it out, how will you know otherwise if it's good? I did get a good house blend before though that one of the guys at the place had made by taking McClelland's st. james woods and soaking it in rum and then stoving it. That was good stuff, a nice treat.

Hi Bacon, these rules were posted earlier in the thread...

* Must be a member for minimum of 6 months or have a well established member vouch for you.

* Have at least 100 posts

* Provide all your contact info including phone number to box co-ordinator

* Currently living within Canada

* Have the financial means to pay for shipping a box across the country with tracking/ delivery confirmation.

* Must agree to purchase tracking/ delivery confirmation.

* Post pictures upon receipt.

I don't know how I missed thos rules, but thank you for putting them infront of my face for me.
SO i don't have 6 month, or 100 posts. I'm good with everything else. Once I reach my quota, who is the box-coordinator I must contact to get in on this sweet deal.
