Today the mail brought me a lovely box from @pipestud containing tins of 2021-vintage D&S First Amendment and Blairgowrie, and a 2004 tin of Bayou Morning Flake. Looking forward to cracking these once the Fall weather sets in.

All I MEANT to grab was a few tins of the Silver Quarter. But then I decided a few extra Gawith tins never hurt, since they’re available and all. And oh look, they have Black Flake in stock. I’ve heard good things. Think I’ll try it. What’s that? HH blends in bulk at WCC? And a little discount per ounce if you get 4 ounces? And look at that! 8oz free? You guys have it good . When I order from Estervals I am happy with two samples( maybe 11/2 pipe bowls) from similar brands that I ordered. Cigarre 24 sent me a box of matches and spent over 300 Euros.

Gotta find something to stick the Ryback in, and the sliced Brown Twist is now sitting in a wonderful smelling pile on a paper plate to dry out for a good while before jarring. I think I really like the cut of it.

It finally arrived. UPS tracking said it was out for delivery on Friday but it didn’t get delivered until today. I was home all day Friday, anxiously awaiting but they never showed, oh well. Going deep on Three Sails. Heading out to the patio now to try Ryback for the first time. I didn’t need another cob, but I didn’t have a Legend or a Rob Roy in my collection, now I do.
