Picked up a pair of tins of C&D's Golden Days of Yore. (I enjoy collecting holiday blends)
Also bought a Weber "The Scoop" Bullmoose estate pipe from MBSD. It was inexpensive due to the finish being worn. I thought it would be a fun pipe to try my hand at a refinish job.

Ignore my messy counter but I just got a box from Smokingpipes with C&D Golden Days of Yore, and cause I was there I decided to try a few others that sounded good. I also got 2oz of C&D Pegasus, 2oz of GH Kendall Gold, 1oz of GH Brown Irish X and a pouch of Five Brothers.
Did I need it? Probably not, but it'll warm my pipe and, through the transitive property, my heart.

With the other bag I got a minute ago, I think I’m good on the quick, thoughtless, “grab and go” supply for a minute.
I unfortunately missed out on this when it was up for sale on SP but scored the last tin from my local shop last night.

@didimauw Since you are in the states you should grab a tin of GLP Quiet Nights. Its not a lat bomb but its definitely plentiful. Ive tried a lot of lat blends and I have to say that QN is my perfect latakia blend. Its pretty freakin amazing. Im generally a cheapskate but Im willing to pay twice the US price to get it.

I'll have to check it out soon! I got my last pipe coming soon, and then I'm going to focus on tobacco. Trying a whole bunch of new ones, and stocking up.
Its a hard one not to love but then again, its all personal preference. For me it has complexity, depth, a nice sweetness and some savory notes. It ticks all the boxes for me....except for the 23 bucks a tin...but life is short.
@Sigmund if you like Quiet Nights I highly recommend GLP Gaslight.
