I have two Stanwells; a Danish Quaint, and a regd no 96 smooth. I had a Royal Danish 996, but lost it in an auto accident. The 96 is one of my regular pipes and it smokes great as long as the tobacco is quite dry. I just purchased the Quaint and will give an update after it’s cleaned.

I got a great deal on a Stanwell Black & White Dublin from P&C last year. Two stems, a white standard length and a black demi-churchwarden length. Great smoker, but I rarely use the white stem.

I'm rather fond of the latest pipe in the collection: my Stanwell Hans Christian Anderson, silky smooth, and showing a beautiful grain.

Italian Stanwell. Stem is upside down so the logo can't be seen! One of my very best smokers. Every bowl seems to smoke all the way to the bottom. I have to be careful not to burn wood when I get to the end.

This is a Danish stanwell Royal guard 207 9mm Cherrywood.I have two others same shape different finishes.I use them for smoking folded flakes.In my opinion they give an excellent smoke.I buy them when they are discounted.The one in the picture has a bit of a Birdseye thing going on.I bought it from a German eBay store has a slight ding in the base got a 30% reduction on the price and it’s now my favourite lovely feel in the hand never gets too hot.

I have three #33's, a Silver "S", Registered , and a Blasted #933 (which is really a #33 under the Royal Danish name). The Registered is not shown, #305 (2nd Danish Sovereign), #144 Antique (Freehand), and a Orlando 1997 (Bulldog),

My 185 is a great VaPer smoker, my first "real" pipe.



My other "in service" Stanwell is this 86. I use it for VA flakes and Lakelands. Currently smoking some M HH Pure VA in it.

The Sixten Ivarsson-designed 25 is currently my favorite Stanwell shape. (Yes, that's mine in both photos. But you can tell that I've cleaned and refurbished it since I made the logo image.)

Love this budget estate pipe. Maybe made between 1948-early 70's but unk. 1.15 oz. and smokes great, perfect for 30-35 min smoke. Markings are:
"Stanwell, REGD. No. 969-48, HAND MADE IN DENMARK; SELECTED BRIAR 29"

A recent acquisition of a Stanwell Shape 91 designed by Sixten Ivarsson from the 1960s I believe. Love the shape of this pipe.

Original stem is in need of some serious tlc as it’s rather oxidised so I had a new one made until I have the skills to sort it out. Very excited to try this out later one.
