I acquired this oldie. I believe it’s from the 50s or 60s. This is an 03. I believe Ivarsson designed a pipe very much like this. It’s a 50-something number. But this designer is designated as “unknown.” There’s no crack in the shank and this band appears to be original to the pipe as far as I can tell.

That's a beauty, and looks familiar (meaning I considered buying at one time). I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I have more Stanwells than any other brand by far and I gravitate to the old Sixten Ivarsson shapes. The top pipe here is obviously in need of restoration but I added it anyway. I guess at this point I don't just collect pipes but Stanwells specifically as well.
