Show-Off Your Stanwell Pipes Here!

I acquired this oldie. I believe it’s from the 50s or 60s. This is an 03. I believe Ivarsson designed a pipe very much like this. It’s a 50-something number. But this designer is designated as “unknown.” There’s no crack in the shank and this band appears to be original to the pipe as far as I can tell.

I have more Stanwells than any other brand by far and I gravitate to the old Sixten Ivarsson shapes. The top pipe here is obviously in need of restoration but I added it anyway. I guess at this point I don't just collect pipes but Stanwells specifically as well.

My wife, daughter and granddaughter went on their weekly garage sale adventure yesterday and brought me this $30 Stanwell Club. Loaded it with Mark Twain about to make it's maiden voyage with a Woodford on the rocks to end a long day.

I’ve been downsizing my pipe collection to the pipes that actually get smoked. My Stanwells get smoked the most. I would like to add to a bulldog one day. These are an Amber, Golden Danish and Relief Brown Polished.
