There a two very small dings but nothing that cant be removed with a little steam and patience. I dont see a single fill on this pipe so it must've been the lighting on the pic the seller posted. It's in phenominal shape for being 39 years old.
Dang I’ve really been trying to find a Mark Twain. Lighting on pictures can make pipes look completely different. Happy you got a good one!

I was showing that auction to my wife the Wednesday before it ended, the price was up to $700 with 29 bids, but when it ended it was back down to your bid. Did you see that, or did my eBay spaz out?

It did go up to 700.00 and that's when I tapped out. For some odd reason the bids from the other bidder got canceled so it went back to my highest bid. I think the other bidder may have been fraudulent.

Two bidders canceled their overly enthusiastic bids. 🙄

Figured the ring grain freaks out there like myself would enjoy seeing a few photos of my overpriced but truly stunning Pete 11s supreme.
I’ve looked on with envy at some of the supreme sandblast pipes guys have shown recently, and when this one popped up I figured why not. The 11s is right down my alley too, so that was nice. At the price these go for a guy can get a very well made and beautiful commissioned pipe exactly to their specs from a talented artisan, but…I see one of these in the collection to be worth it.
Foolishly, I didn’t document the pipe very well before I started smoking it, and it has colored up quite quickly. In my eye it’s starting to look really good now, getting some beautiful patina.
(Don’t judge the dirty range top in the background of the photos, best lighting I could find lol).

I can't take pictures of the silver stamp with my phone, and I can only make it out up close to my eyes. I'll have to see if I find a magnifying glass. Meantime, this drawing is the best I can do to show it. Seems like an "O" for 1980. But it seems a little tilted, and has what looks like apple stems from the top, but that could be scratches. And the other 2 are even worse and not legible at all. Also the wear gap is nearly gone, but seems functionally tight.
But look at that blast!
I was searching for a Mark Twain, which I don't know if I'll ever come across, but this found it's way to me.
