It’s such a big book that for me, I’d wait until they do rerun of hardback copies or until they appear on the secondhand market.

Does anyone else keep and excel sheet of every pipe you own or am I just a weirdo? I started it so I wouldn't accidentally buy duplicates on my travels.
I do for all my collectibles; Zippos, knives, and pipes. Mostly because if I ever have to sell them all off, it's good to know what prices were paid originally for tax purposes

If 1971 that would account for the appearance of the "stems" that I originally mentioned.
