I was very stoked to recently score this Sven-Lar, Michael Kabik “Sculpture.” It needs a little restoration, but I don’t think I could ever part with this. Not everybody’s cup of tea, though so representative of both his pipe work and subsequent wood sculpting.IMG_3314.jpegIMG_3314.jpegIMG_3313.jpeg

That Soren pipe is really wowing me. Where did you pick it up? I've been less of a fan of Danish shapes these days but that is just captivating.

Thank you.

Both the Soren and Idskov came from Bisgaard Pipes.
As did the other Soren and Idskov I picked up a few weeks ago

I baulk at the prices asked for a lot of Danish pipes, but these, because they are by lesser known makers, are in the affordable category

Thank you! I always forget about Bisgaard when "doing the rounds."

Did anyone here grab this beauty?

Danish designs were my first love. The biggest and most note-worthy one was this XL Karl Erik i bought from a fellow at a Seattle Pipe Club meeting when i was a young(er) pipe smoker.

The bag it's laying on is a Crown Royal bag! Not your typical pipe sock. lol

This one was recently sold in order to pick up a few of the newer meers i've bought.
