Is it the case that the US stamped Castellos are less true to their shape number than non-US stamped ones? I ask because the Castellos I've seen that "don't look quite right" often had the US stamp.
Interesting question. I haven't had a lot of US stamped Castellos but I have not noticed a difference. Mind you, Castello often does variations on a shape even from Italy, or even shapes that are not in their shape chart. Is it the case that the US stamped Castellos are less true to their shape number than non-US stamped ones? I literally had to stop opening my emails from the Italian shop I patronize because I would have kneejerk bought that myself if I had seen it, lol. Gorgeous!
NiceNatural Virgin 4K shape 30. Its pretty hefty and has a large chamber, first smoke was a luxury navy flake and it smoked like a dream right to the bottom.

I’m noticing it picks up colour pretty quickly, I love that though. I’ve seen some great looking natural pipes here!Nice
Love the smooth and waxed rim.
My Vergin is rusticated all around, including rim. I learned that when they're like this they will absorb and darken from the smoke that curls over them, ain't nothin you can do about it.
*well, maybe always smoking it perfectly parallel to the floor, but no. We're not doing that
