pipe art from my sketchboook (pic heavy)

here are some of the things that have been happening in my sketchbook, and a couple of the paintings of my pipes i have started doing. i have about eight more of those in various states of progress that i will be finishing soon.

Awesome stuff, Jason! There's not a whole lot in the way of pipe art out there. Nothing that I'd buy anyway, lol.
Paintings and sketches like this is something that I'd be proud to hang up somewhere.

I need to find a copy of AutoCAD to put on my machine, then I was thinking about making blueprints and framing them of different pipe shapes.

i have some plans for some larger scale pipe oriented art that i will be trying to sell and trade away for things shaun. one of the things i want to do are painted sketches showing design and mechanics of the pipe. could be interesting.

I like your style Jason.
The blue pipe on the orange washed backdrop is especially nice. Prints of that would sell well.
If you decide to have some printed up let me know. If you don't mind...what size is it?

tommy those guys are pretty small. i don't have one in front of me (they are at home) but i would say they are probably about 3.5" x 7". those are painted on small wood panels. i have about two dozen of the panels and plan on painting a pipe on each one. if you are interested in it i open to selling or trading it. i would also be open to doing one for ya if you have a specific pipe or shape you would want.

i was gifted a drill press by a friend recently and in between bouts of sanding rusticating, painting, and tattooing i have been shaping some spade bits into bowl bits and putting together other goods to begin making my own. hopefully will have that rolling in the fall or winter at the latest.

lonestar - i can't help it. it may be a lifetime problem of mine. i have done paintings of finished pipes... i swear. ha.
