My first and most potent desire with good looking tobacco is to grab the container in two hands and sniiiiiiffffff!

Recently got this old tin of Gallaher's Three Crowns,

specifically because it had some baccy left intact, and it was under $20, and I just like having these sorts of artifacts around --- the baccy has been exposed to air for so long that all flavour has gone to the angels,

not even worth attempting a rehydration...
...does make for some interesting photos though!

I wonder if I can find a way to print these poster-size, like centerfolds. Might be the best office art ever.

Even though I know that some of those tobaccos would burn the Shit out of my tongue, these pictures still make me want to smoke them!

Man, this thread is making me salivate! I'm a bit frustrated with the Stonehaven pictures though! I jarred mine 09/18/2012 and there is not near the amount of bloom misterlowercase has. I wonder why that is?

This old original plug sold recently on auction,

it's wonderful to see it in full glory as made back in the good old days by Carroll...

I'd be hesitant to smoke a tobacco that old.. the fear of falling in love with something that I could never have again is too hard to bare! lol I had a 5 year old tin of Samuel Gawith Skiff mixture and it was soooo smooth. Bugger that I only had one tin as it was fantastic and I know a new tin won't be the same.
Some S.G Cabbies

And some Condor Longcut

This is from a just opened bag of Esoterica Ramsgate. My camera isn't good enough to get any closer to focus on what I'm just guessing is bloom. It's throughout the bag, not just the exterior surface of the mass. I've only had the bag for three months, but I don't know when it was bagged. It doesn't seem logical that companies don't ALL put dates on their containers.
