My Meer has no cake build in it, the chamber is just black inside. When I’m immediately done smoking I wipe the chamber out firmly with a paper towel so there is no build up.

Can Everclear be used inside the chamber to either wipe out, or, what if someone wanted to do a deep cleaning, with salt, or a cotton ball in the chamber soaked in Everclear, is this safe? 🤔

I would say no but others may have a different thought on the matter.

Where do I fill out my bracket? We could use the pictures and do a round of 64 bracket. :)

I forgot to mention, on occasion, I do dip a cleaner in Everclear and run it through the shank to clean it. I also occasionally dip a q-tip in Everclear to swab around inside the shank.

I haven’t noticed any issues doing these so far.

Even the carvers don't let blocks remain in water for very long. A prolonged soak with alcohol in the chamber would soften the material. I just use sandpaper on the chamber periodically.
