I used to play wow, I am 4 months clean now, but my main had over 250 days played time. I'll always miss hxc raiding, but I do other things now.

You sure you're not talking about me?

Haven't logged into WOW in ages. Stress from work means i don't really feel like grinding... Wish I could join a decent DnD game, but the DM's in my area are either hardcore fascists or slackers. Plus, every time I touch one of those 4th ed books I die a little inside.

To anyone who doubts my geek cred: I listen to nerdcore hiphop. Yes, it exists

Reading, mostly SF/Fantasy.
Autocross and SCCA time trials with the Triumph in my Avatar.
Building cars for racing. The only thing Triumph in my Spitfire is the body. It's powered by a Mazda rotary engine and has a custom built suspension using Miata parts. I'm working on a Honda Civic to run a 24 hour endurance race the end of May. We finished 10th last year. Hoping for a better finish this time.
Antique engines. My oldest is a 1928 McCormick Deering.
Antique Tractors. A group of friends and I have restored three of them that we take to shows along with the engines.
And lastly, antique clocks. I have about 30 of them at the moment. I usually buy them broken and fix them myself. It drives my wife crazy when they are all wound.
Mostly I like old mechanical things. Engines and clocks being my favorite.

Toyman, I am a huge fan of old clocks. Right now I am starting work on a 14th century all wooden clock replica. Had to wait for the apple wood to finish drying.
