I've had a Karen come get me while I was mowing my yard and demand that I help her steal a neighbor's dog because it was chained up outside. This was about 15 years ago, the family had a daughter my daughter's age that had a cute little fluff ball dog thing that had to stay on a chain while the girl was at school. This irritated this Karen to death. I know that she had called the police several times with them just to laugh at her. My firneds on the force had told me this, joking at what a scum she was. So, she was taking it upon herself to steal this cute lil' dog.
I told her that if she stepped foot on that property, now that she had declared that she was intending to steal that dog, that I would be obligated to shoot her to defend my neighbor's property. She turned all red and started screaming at me, so I just cranked the mower to override he squelching, and continued, keeping an eye on the dog to make sure I wasn't going to have to shoot a bitch.
PEOPLE THAT FRET OVER OTHER PEOPLE'S PETS LIKE THIS ARE THE LOWEST FORM OF HUMAN, not even humans, they're worms. I have no respect for them at all.
I also noticed that she didn't give a rat's ass about the pitbull chained in the people's yard across the street. And, it stayed chained it's entire life. Just the cute one. Damn their eyes. They aren't humans.

No, NASA is in the South because of more astronomical reasons, not just temperatures. But, since it has been down here for 70 or so years, it is now mostly made up of Southerners. We have some of the smartest people in the world, but we also have some of the stupidest. I'll agree to that.
But, to just use overall test scores doesn't necessarily determine the worth of a geographical area. We have some of the most impoverished areas in the world down here. We also have some of the most humane people, nicest people, and some of the worst. Test scores is just a straw man argument if you aren't going to take into account millions of people living impoverished in dirt floor houses without ever having worn shoes in their life. But, if you take into account Huntsville City School and Birmingham, Shelby County, they have some of the best schools in the country. Our Oak Mt High School has received accolades for being the best in the country.
So, put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Here's an interesting tidbit: Iowa currently has 23.6 million pigs waiting in line for the slaughterhouse. That's one tasty state, if you ask me.
