Anyone tried Night Owl already? Reluctant to open a tin since I run out of space for open tobacco jars...
DTM and HU have sometimes collaborated. The Untouchables is such a blend. It seems like it depends on the particular blend for HU. Some appear to be manufactured by K&K while others appear to manufactured in house.
Just got a tin but also am just coming down with the nasty cold/flu that my sons had. I'll give it a whirl when I'm better and post about my impressions (for what they're worth).
Just grabbed some of the Ascanian as well as that tordenskjod in my most recent order. Excited to try them! You smoke alot......
Received my latest E. order today.
This order cycle was a little quicker than the last, 16 days from ordering to receiving.
One HU blend I received I am particularly curious about, the Dark Moor, but I need to smoke down some of my already opened tins before I will let myself open another up.

No I cracked my Moroccan Bazaar before the dark moor. That one and Pfeifenecke.
HU in general, and Directors Cut in particular, are my new go to’s. I am not a high volume smoker and already have enough tobacco on hand (maybe more than enough) but I have been ordering up on these while the sun shines.
My shipment finally surfaced on January 21st!
It hit New Jersey which caused a blip on my Messaging Radar.
SO happy to know it isn't lost.
December 3rd to January 21st just to get to the U.S. That's a slow boat...

With mail from Europe I've been wondering if they actually do send it by boat. Purchased a couple of CDs off amazon.de on Dec. 23 last year; they were reported dispatched on the 29th with an ETA of January 21. They were actually delivered middle of last week, ~Jan. 15.My shipment finally surfaced on January 21st!

I'm not sure why all this matters. When you go in a restaurant and order a steak, do you demand to stick your head up the cow's arse before you decide what cut to get? It's safe to say lead times from Estervals now stand at 3 to 7 weeks. To date, and knock on wood, I've heard of no one who hasn't received their shipment ... eventually. Were I out of tobacco and needed something to smoke tomorrow, I clearly wouldn't rely on Estervals to answer that need.
I wish Estervals got their product here faster myself. But it is what it is. And as long as it gets here, I don't care if they strap it to a dolphin and he swims it across the Atlantic.
