I got exactly what I was looking for. A Hudson, fish tail stem, new rustication. What I do like about these pipes is that they are not red and green with a candy cane stripped stem. Something like this I would smoke all autumn and winter. Not just 2 weeks in December when I’m feeling jolly.
This'll be my 6th and definitely not last. I love Petes. I have never had a drilling issue.Happy to see so much interest on Peterson pipes. Oh, my pipes all came home today with all my stash!
I looked at a few before I bought one, and several were double-stamped, slightly off, and all were shallow.I just wish that they would stamp the nomenclature a little deeper.
Stampings have been "shallow" for last few years...I looked at a few before I bought one, and several were double-stamped, slightly off, and all were shallow.
Yep, a few smooth finishes there too. If they’re popular, they have a few months left to make lots more. They just threw about 50 more pipes up on the site... bought a smooth Strand. Uncle!
Got the Mycroft Sandblast today, nice looking pipe, and properly drilled. I just wish that they would stamp the nomenclature a little deeper. As new it looks thin…

Thanks. I jumped on it immediately. This is the nicest blast I’ve seen, the only one, and if I’d see more like this, I might be tempted, but all the others don’t look as nice... hmm ?
Enjoy it!
Very nice! I was planning to get the Milverton rusticated, but got sidetracked w/family stuff and they sold out. You snooze you lose, but maybe they’ll get another batch.Milverton arrived this morning. The draft in the chamber is a little high, nomenclature stamper guy did a little better this time. The ring stands out fairly well.

The stain will be dry by Christmas…There have been reports on other forums that the stain is rubbing off on their hands.
I may hit mine with a flame and buff it before smoking it.The stain will be dry by Christmas…
