I’m the opposite. Black smooths don’t appeal to me, but the sandblasts do… Nice looking pipe!?

Mine too. The smooths went pretty quickly today. I just happened to be at my phone though. Didn’t think I’d get another Peterson, yet here we are.
The only reason the Strand won out this time was that I had always wanted one and had never seen one without the P-Lip.
Yeah me too...I grinded down my p-lip on one of my Sherlock Holmes...and its much better.
I just couldn't. They just didn't tickle my fancy. I mean I have multiple copy of my favorites already. Maybe I'll see something later.
I got exactly what I was looking for. A Hudson, fish tail stem, new rustication. What I do like about these pipes is that they are not red and green with a candy cane stripped stem. Something like this I would smoke all autumn and winter. Not just 2 weeks in December when I’m feeling jolly.
It would appear they've sold over 200 of them in the past 6 hours...
I am glad I got that smooth Hansom on Tobacco Pipes. Smoking Pipes appears to not have had a single Hansom when I looked later in the day. Also, it appears the Hansom only comes in smooth and blast, no rustic for that one. I am usually more of a blast and rustic guy, but I liked the smooth, and I told myself the other day that I would go for the smooth Hansom if it was in stock when I looked.
Grabbed a smooth Milverton, had to go back twice. Two were bought out of my cart before I could check out.
As of right now, Hudson, Squire, and Watson are still available in smooth at Smoking Pipes.
Tobacco Pipes still has the Original, Strand, Mycroft, Baskerville, Professor, Baker Street, Deerstalker, Hudson, and Watson all available in smooth.

I would definitely be interested in a Baker Street if I could find one in sandblasted finish, just not a fan of the rustication. The 2018 sandblasted army mount Christmas Pete's I have are some of my favorites.
Yep, they started with eight pages of them and are currently down to two.

I felt the same way. I was looking forward to their release but after seeing how dark the stains were I just couldn't pull the trigger.
