LOL ... loved the reference to Quatermass and the Pit...a true classic.
I actually did just watch that while smoking that Drew Estates pipe the other night. I've got all the Quatermass films queued up to rewatch this month - haven't seen most of them in 20 years or more. "Quatermass & the Pit" really was excellent, but then I've found I always enjoy Nigel Kneale's scripts. If you ever have the chance to check out the much-less known Nigel Kneale BBC TV movie "The Stone Tape" definitely do. Early 70's, low budget, but very smart and interesting - A group of scientists and engineers turn their logical thinking toward solving a haunting, and tackle it via such calculations as figuring how much heat energy would have to be removed form a space to cause sudden cold spots, and then figuring out where the energy transfers to, etc.

 LOL...the return of Baragon was inevitable. Now I'm going to have to get around to watching The Raven again.

I was actually tempted to try my hand at Photoshop FX for this one, to give Baragon a vibrating motion blur in the last few panels to suggest that he was just sitting there BARELY able to restrain himself, even though he had nothing to say worth saying as per usual. Someone on the Reddit pipe board coined the term "The Alfred Effect' - our version of Godwin's Law - to refer to the inevitability of any mention of Dunhill to always devolve into a stupid flame war instigated by the Dunhill haters.
Re: The Raven. Great movie, one of my all-time faves. It's one of those films that I can watch over and over and never get tired of. Price and Peter Lorre make such a perfect comic duo, and it's staggering to see how much production value Roger Corman was able to put onto the screen given the micro budgets he worked with, in the form of great sets, FX, terrific actors, etc. Movies in this budget range today are always some guys walking around in their back yard filming on iPhone cams.

I busted out laughing at the last frame. I always wonder what voices people give these characters in their heads. To me, the Godzillas are mellow, deep voices, and Baragon has a high pitched, shrill uber-annoying voice. Which matched his last statement perfectly.
Hence the spewed drink on my computer screen.

I love "The Raven", how many people know that it was Jack Nicholson's first real role?

Trevor, I always light up when I see that you've posted a new one here. Got a good laugh out of that one. The dead silence frames with the slight movements are hilarious.

Glad you enjoyed! For some reason, it tickles me that George is completely unaware of his resemblance to the Big G.

lol ... I must admit, upon reading the first frame, my immediate thought was "oh geez, not another clay".
