2015 Box Pass Thread

Sorry I wasn't here to address your concerns, Jeremy.
The Box Pass thread is quite secure here at PM. Other changes on the site, however have prompted concerns such as yours, which I hope I addressed in my earlier post. We always have a Plan B here at Box Pass Central, so should anything happen, be it a volcanic eruption, alien autopsy train derailment, zombie invasion or an EMP attack, I will find a way to contact everyone and to keep the box moving.
Keep the shotgun by the door, your tin foil hat grounded, and please, write if you get work.

Happy International Pipe Smoking Day, fellow box passers!
As I have been blessed to be in possession of the box-o-awesome on this illustrious holiday, I feel that to properly observe this event I must smoke not one but two blends today. This may be a pittance to some of you more accomplished smokers, but being the occasional smoker that I am, two bowls in a day is something out of the ordinary. I will have to purchase an indulgence from the wife, but the holiday demands it.
It was a difficult decision what blend/s to smoke today; the variety that the box pass affords is daunting. I eventually decided that on my way in to work I would smoke H&H White Knight which I will finish on my drive home, and, if all goes well, I intend to light up some Black House tonight.
I enjoyed the first half of WK, it was savory with an underlying sweetness, as well as a flavor I couldn't define that I surmise must have been the oriental components. Quite good! I'm looking forward to the rest of it.

Reasonably well Dan, thanks for asking! It turns out that no indulgences were for sale Friday, so the Black House was put on hold, probably until tomorrow.
I've bagged up the samples that I want to try and deposited my submissions, so the box is ready to fly as soon as you give me the go-ahead. It'll require a little persuasion to actually close properly, but I'll make it work. I may have to rig up a vacuum to suck all thetobacco air out of the bags to allow the box to close properly.

I'm here Dan, as discussed earlier in the thread Shaintiques will be taking the box before I do. Depending on the time we'll most likely meet up for the hand off here in Atlanta when he's finished. Keep in mind Dave that it's not required if your calendar doesn't permit.
I'm very much looking forward to trying some things I've seen added to the box, and I've got some things I'm going to throw in as well....Space permitting of course.

Yep and I'm ready to receive. This is perfect as I will get it before the NY show and maybe find some new blends to look for. We can definitely hook up Defargin. The Hiram shop is expanding their pipe related inventory and by the time we get together ought to have a nice selection of estates out.
I've got it taped up ready to go.
