Ok. What the hell happened? There are a lot more than 2 people gone and threads erased and all manner of shenanigans. I can't even go 2 hours away to be with my new bride for the weekend (geographically separated, atm) without all hell breaking loose on the forum.

Quite a ruction to put it mildly. Hopefully it will all come out in the wash in time these things have a habit of working themselves out. My wife threatens me with divorce proceedings every other week!

Eric your contribution are great. I have only tried the OGS. The others are new.
Freakie, if you run out of time with the box, put a bowls worth of the ones you want to try in mylar bags. I took about 10 samples that way.
Mylar bags are super cheap on ebay and are the very very recommended means of packaging one's contributions to the box. I had mine ordered and in a month before the box arrived.

I've asked Eric to take his time with the Box and enjoy. It's been a cold and dark winter, we all deserve some respite.

Hey Eric thanks for posting the pic of the contents of the box all spread out. what a beautiful sight.
Glad to be of service, shaintiques! I just wish that I could've captured a high enough resolution that you could zoom in to read each label, but my phone's camera is not that good.
Fine, I'll hang onto the box a little longer. The temptation to further lighten the box more than I already have will be difficult to resist!
Here's the thing, my available time to smoke is pretty few and far between these days. My wife stays at home with our 11 month old daughter, and we have another one on the way. So, to placate the wife and my own guilt for taking time away from my family, I've relegated myself (for the most part) to only smoking on my way IN to work. Smoke on the way home and my wife's pregnancy-heightened senses react negatively to the residual aromas. I've tried to convince her that it actually smells good (because it does to me) but she's not buying it. This is teaching me how to pack half pipes in my smaller bowled pipes so I'm not tossing out too much unburnt tobacco.
Anyhow, sob-story over, on my way in to work today (Yes, I view pipesmagazine.com at work, but only on my lunch break, honest!)I was able to smoke one of Sparks contributions from Watch City Cigars, a blend named Americano. It was a pleasant, uncomplicated smoke. I haven't smoked any "codger" blends yet, but this one strikes me as what I perceive the best non-aromatic OTCs to be. I'm looking forward to what the rest of the WCC blends have to offer.

Thought I should say, for the guys after me in line who are thinking, "what take your time!" because they are eager to get the box, I don't plan on having it too long. I've got a pile of mylar bags to procure things I want to try and lots of goodies picked out to put in based on what is there or not. I took the Pembroke to Pipe club last night and it was well received. But I have lots of other stuff open that I will be putting in.
