    Old Boy IM Corona

I believe there was a period where the quality suffered. The current models under new ownership several years ago, are much improved.

    HTTPS error

I can't reproduce it at the moment because I clicked the "continue to site" option. Basically it said "you usually connect to this site with HTTPS" implying that was not an option and a potential vulnerability.

Is anyone else getting an error message when trying to go to this site?

    So Much Information Everywhere, Yet..

I'm going to be generous here. As Warren points out, there is both information and disinformation on the net. There is also AI, which frequently doesn't know what it's talking about, because like the questioner it gets misled by inaccurate data. If I want information related to pipe smoking...

    Why are some pipes “expensive”?

Why worry about a $10,000 Rolex when you could have this...

    Question on some estate pipes

I would say that any of them (except "The Pipe") might be decent smokers, but none have any particular value. The accessories look quite useful.

    Who's Still Enjoying Churchwardens?

I have six which I smoke occasionally. Two clays, two Brebbia, a Savinelli and a Stanwell. The Stanwell came with a straight stem which is useless if you clench at all, so I reshaped it in the oven, giving it a gentle curve. The Savinelli is the best smoker and the Brebbia Lectura is the most...

    Over-Aged Pipe Tobacco

I have tried the same blend fresh, and with 3, 5, 7, 11, and 20 years of age. For that blend at least, the 7-year mark seemed to be the peak. The 20-year-old version was past its prime with the latakia component in particular fading. Depending on a host of variables I believe there is a point...

    McClelland English/Ori/Scottish

The McClelland "Ketchup" scent was certainly there in the tin note, but I never found it interfered with my enjoyment when smoking. In my experience it was also more prevalent in the Virginia blends. As for Frog Morton, I found them heavy in the Latakia content. Very smooth, but monochromatic.

    McClelland English/Ori/Scottish

Number 14 was not as much of a favorite, though it has been a long time since I had any so my recollection is a little hazy. All of the Grand Oriental series were interesting, though the only one I stayed with was the Samsun. As someone else said, you can't go wrong with any of McClelland's blends.

The green label tins, particularly numbers 6 and 12 are worthwhile in my opinion. Arcadia is also a favorite.

    Rattrays composition

Even if you knew the exact percentage of each tobacco in the blend, you probably could not reproduce it. Source of the leaf, processing, toppings, etc. would all be proprietary. Even in challenges conducted by professional blenders, specific blends have been almost impossible to duplicate.
