    That doesn't look like mold to me. You need to get a magnifying loop. You will see that these are crystals, not fuzzy mold. If it was mold, it would be everywhere in the tin of tobacco, not just in a few spots. I'm pretty sure this is NOT mold. And since it's not mold, it won't cross...
