I don't know where you get your info, but your flat out wrong. Climate change (global warming) is a fact, not a conspiracy theory. Absolutely it's hotter! I grew up in Houston. Back in the 60's - 90's a hot summer day was in the high 90's. Now it's week after week of 103-107. I live in Bryan now which is only 1.5 hours north of Houston. We had a month of temps between 100-105 in July and a month of temps between 105-110...- monty55

Sealed Tins, Jars, and High Altitudes
I moved a bunch of tins from 300' in Texas to 8000' in New Mexico several years ago. Normal vacuum sealed tins will do fine. Great! Man with 8 fans you should have some really nice air flow, even set on the lowest setting. You will get better and quieter air flow if you remove the cages. Let us know how it works out when you get it installed and tested.- monty55

Smoke Air Purifiers
There are small inline vent fans about the size of a muffin fan you can use. They're pretty quiet. I would avoid bathroom type fans, as they're noisy and inefficient.- monty55

I think if I were to try and get rid of the smoke over my work bench in the garage, I'd build some kind of vent hood over the work bench with ductwork that vented outside the garage. Perhaps with the vent fan placed closer to the exhaust exit in order to reduce noise. No filters to mess with...- monty55

Difficulty keeping Gaslight Lit
Gaslight is always like this. I find that breaking up a slice into small pieces, letting it dry till almost crunchy, and packing it very lightly helps a lot. But don't be surprised by relights with Gaslight.- monty55
