This is a good idea. I may look into this as above my bench is attic space and near the outside wall. I think another person shared a vent used on dry vents that are too long which is much stronger than a bathroom vent.
There are small inline vent fans about the size of a muffin fan you can use. They're pretty quiet. I would avoid bathroom type fans, as they're noisy and inefficient.

Among other things, I happen to sell a high end line of air purifiers, I never mentioned it because I don’t want to break the forum rules about soliciting.

The air purifier helps my prevent strain between me and my smoke hating wife.

Non-specifically I’d steer you toward something with both Hepa and carbon filters.

(Also, I’ve always wanted to try an inexpensive lampe berger)
I also would like to try a Lampe Berger, it has a nostalgic character I associate with smoking rooms, floor-standing brass ashtrays, and wing-backed leather chairs.
