    Some nights I’ll light up a bow and from the char light down to ash, it will be terrible. It could be a blend that, regularly, I enjoy and smoke often but for whatever reason is a hot, ashy, nasty bowl. Am I the only one who experiences this?

    I usually get it worst with anything Virginia or Perique. Haunted Bookshop, while a burley blend, torches my tongue and I attribute that to the perique in it.

    Only 15 bowls in and it’s coloring quite well. I’ve only been handling it by the stem so all coloring is true coloring, not finger smudges.

    Have a few tins of Haunted Bookshop that are unopened and am tidying up my cellar. I’m not sure if it’s better to crack them and put them in mason jars or leave them unopened. My thought would be the latter.
