Help fixing a cracked meer shank

Help fixing a cracked meer shank
I pushed a little too hard trying to get the tenon into the shank the other day and noticed that it cracked a bit. I’ve heard about some people using epoxy but what other methods can I take to repair this?- fishmansf

Oh absolutely, its by no means a codger blend like Half&Half, Carter Hall, SWR, etc. but a codger blend in the sense that I can smoke this and nothing else for the rest of my days!- fishmansf

They’re honestly quite affordable ranging from $50-70 but I have hear complaints of the plastic stems over the historically vulcanite stems. Are they worth it (I’m thinking of a meer bowl)?
