    Having tried some Cob Plug, aka, 1792 Brick Edition, yesterday: Ain't as good as War Horse, but I think the molasses(?) in it might provide a superior mouthfeel (hate that word) to the smoke. Got some in a jar now with a shotglass of raki, to see if that makes it more equine.

    The kinda floral ones I can think of that aren't from the Gawiths... Saint Bruno, or maybe one of the American blends with deer tongue (not a conventional "flowery" flavor, sort of a light... Vanilla-mint-cinnamon?) if you can get those. I'll also second Mixture 79 and Semois.

    Usually I drink black tea (Russian Caravan is a favorite), black coffee, or water with my tobacco. When I go for liquor, I think I've settled on aquavit as my favorite partner. The carraway and such acts as a palate cleanser to bring the leaf's flavor back into focus.
