Hello, I am looking for a nice tobacco to smoke daily, so far I have tried the Skandinavik Sungold which unfortunately irritates my tongue even tho I really like its vanilla taste, the Borkum Riff Ruby which reminds me a lot of smocking cigarettes, the Early Morning Pipe which is so far my favourite one and My Mixture 965 which has such a strong "leather like" note in it that nauseates me if I smoke it for long enough (30+ minutes).
Keeping in mind that I live in Italy I would like to know if there are any tobaccos available in my country which have floral notes, maybe even rose and such, and that don't ghost too much.
Somewhere I saw a tabacco, the Carolina Rose, which I am not even sure it is available in my country and it has no good revious from what I read.
I am in your hands

Sungold isnt so bad if you dry it in the open on a tray for 24 hours. Its doused in pg. dry that crap like crazy.

Can you get something with Latakia? People talk about it being smokey because it smells like a fire. To me it tastes very floral too.

Maybe just find a basic Virginia burley blend and add to it. Some tobacco has rose leaves in it. You can dry your own but they should be organic. There is no telling what is on flowers from the florist or market.

Your best bet is probably Gawith Hoggarth & Co.'s Ennerdale or Grasmere, or Sam Gawith Grousemoor.

Not sure what you have available.

Mac Baren Navy Flake has some floral essences, but it's not a super "floral" tasting tobacco like Ennerdale is.

There's other potential options for floral notes, but I doubt you can get them there.

what you seek are the Lakelands of Gawith Hoggarth & Co., hopefully you can get them Italy. Ennerdale seems consistently available in the States.

if you're looking for a hint I think that Erinmore has a thistle flower taste underneath the jack fruit or juicy fruit flavor (kind of complicated story), though it's a very herbaceous floral. Victor Manil Semios is a weird one. It is very cigarish rocky earthy but there is a subtle hint of flowers. It's an odd leaf. Kind of blunt and yet refined at the same time.

I’m surprised that nobody mentioned Oriental leaf mixtures yet. Also, the OP mentioned that he didn’t want anything that would ghost.

My suggestion is to find an Oriental-dominent blend, or to mix just a small amount of Lakeland blend into a Virginia blend.

Lakelands. From what I have been able to understand from those who smoke this stuff, it's either soapy smell or old lady's underwear in a drawer. I'm still afraid to smoke it.

That's equating it to the old time floral glycerine soaps and flower sachets of decades ago. Prior to Rachel's Gawith's modern audience mentality, Lakeland tobaccos weren't like either.

Thanks for all your answers, unfortunately most of the tobaccos mentioned in this discussion are not available in my country. For example the Gawith Hoggarth's tobaccos are not imported anymore. As for the Kentucky Bird it doesn't seem to have a floral taste even tho it should be dryed in-betweem rose petals. At this point I think I will look for honey tobaccos

The kinda floral ones I can think of that aren't from the Gawiths...
Saint Bruno, or maybe one of the American blends with deer tongue (not a conventional "flowery" flavor, sort of a light... Vanilla-mint-cinnamon?) if you can get those.
I'll also second Mixture 79 and Semois.
