Last night was more Hendrix live tunes followed by some SRV live at Montreux Jazz Festival....proper rocking stuff.

Just can't get myself away from listening to the Pogues once in awhile.
Last week member @huntertrw posted a clip from J.J. Cale's double disc set Anyway The Wind Blows - The Anthology which I thought delightful.
This had me searching out more of his stuff and eventual purchase of the discs. They arrived yesterday and I played them quietly during the day then played them again in the evening at proper listening levels. Wow, such lovely tunes and all of them well played and some quite complex in their arrangement. My favourite by a long stretch was track 20 on disc 1, a beautifully ethereal instrumental called Durango. I played it 3 times!
