@Dshift your Huber Celebration pipes are very cool, if you run across a 309, 307, 4S, or 9S Huber anniversary pipe please let me know. They are one of my favorite shops.
Certainly a pipenet in the hands of a careful and thoughtful “hobbyist” is a perfectly fine tool capable of reaming a pipe.
I think part of the problem is that the Pipenet is not longer made and the lookalikes on the market are poorly made butchers tools. The new ones are dreadfully dull and...
There were two Sherlock System pipes made in 1990, both featured AB system stems.
The “Original” & the “Baskerville” both are system version of then already existing SH shapes. Both are very scarce today and bring decent money on the secondary market. Personally I think the Baskerville...
I fly monthly/weekly. The only lighters you can’t take on a plane nowadays is a torch. I fly with my zippo pipe lighter everywhere I go in my pocket and it’s never had to be dry. They occasionally act like it’s a “torch” I politely correct them and ask if they can check with their supervisor...
The vast majority of chambers are parabolic, yet there are very few parabolic reamers. Most off the self reamers are capable of doing more harm than good. In my opinion the pipenet style reamers are the absolute worst.

I’ve owned several WDC system pipes including many Wellington. They tend to be decent smokers.
I’ve sold most of my WDC systems to make room for more Pete’s but I’ve kept one. A large system just like yours that I made new acrylic P-Lip stem for as I wasn’t overly fond of the long WDC stem.
Curing whole leaf with smoke is nothing new, it’s how Latakia and many flue cured varieties are done. But I’m not sure how much you stand to gain by smoking already cured leaf. You definitely don’t want to contaminate your leaf with any animal proteins in the process.

I’m pretty sure that’s how they originally wrote it.
