Dunhill MM965 has some sweetness you might like from your aromatic background. John Cotton's No. 1 and GLP Westminster are tasty. If money is a concern Peter Stokkebye's Proper English which is sold by the ounce is very nice as well.
Most of my pipes are cobs and I don't have a favorite. I have some that smoke englishes very well while others are great with flakes and a couple favor aros so it is more what blend I'm in the mood to smoke than what pipe I want to smoke.

Rumors are still alive about a final batch that is still curing/drying before it can be sold. It is a great smoke and in my top 5; I've been slowly rationing it to make it last because my gut tells me that this may well be the end of the blend.
