    $30 budget

For the month of July Pipes and Cigars run a special with 15% off MM cobs so that might be something you want to consider. Peter Stokkebye has some nice bulk blends with quite a bit of variety at a low cost per ounce. Since you're just starting out buying an ounce or 2 of several blends can be...

Happy World No Tobacco Day 2016

I know when I worked summers as a night janitor(during college) at the Mayo Clinic the head cancer researcher was a chain smoking freak of nature. Several of the other administration doctors were cigar/pipe smokers. Even though Mayo buildings were smoke free somehow on the admin floor that...

    This Is It

Big Tobacco is expanding in global markets so I don't see tobacco farmland in the US going away.

    A Lakota Ceremony Pipe

Beautiful pipe and ceremony. My wife is Mohawk and whenever I go out to gather sage or sweetgrass for her she taught me to always spread tobacco in the area I'm gathering in; giving back and honoring Mother Earth for what I'm taking.

    Best stem to use?

Could look at using a softie to protect the stem. The added diameter may help keep you from crunching the bit.

New FDA Regs; What Isn't Affected?

I think this has more to do with Big Tobacco wiping out the vaping market so their electronic cigarettes takeover. A lot more money in vaping than pipe tobacco.

    Elizabethan Match vs P.S.Bullsye

I haven't tried the match but regular Elizabethan Mixture I find to be a bit stronger in vitamin N than Bulls Eye Flake. The cavendish center of Bulls Eye Flake adds sweetness that comes and goes as I smoke it whereas Elizabethan is a solid VaPer for the entire bowl. I like them both and...

    Pipe Specific FDA Petition?

Very educational. The next time I crack some skulls I'll make sure I have my pipe along as a disguise!
