    A little bit of nirvana

Glass of JW Black, some jazz on the radio, bowl of University Flake, sitting in my home office at dusk watching the snow fall in the backyard.

Breakfast Pudding - A Home Blend

Sounds like a good mix. If I ever have both components, I'll give it a go.

    How many...

I think I have around 50 or 60. Haven't counted in awhile. I smoke about 10 of them regularly. (Mostly My Scottie Piersel Bings). While I will probably never smoke most of them again, many are sentimental, so I can't bring myself to get rid of them. I would be fine with 10-12 pipes though. I...

All great suggestions... but in response to the OP's question. It is not possible. You either start at the beginning, or at the end.

Kramer's Pipe Tobacco-new product or old?

Is it just me, or does it annoy anyone else when SP.com does all these fluffy descriptions, but they don't tell you what's in the damn blend. Just tell me if it has Burley, VA, Latakia, etc. I appreciate that 15 different celebrities liked it... but that don't mean I will.

    Carter Hall in Buffalo NY

Important to remember that Buffalo is in NYS, which has one of the highest tobacco taxes in the country that I'm aware of. I believe it is 70% on pipe tobacco. Doesn't make it very sensible for most stores to carry. That is why the Indian Reservation was always the best option. Tax free.

    Carter Hall in Buffalo NY

Hey, Bass. Born and raised in the Nickel City. Walgreens or Rite Aid are the most likely to have it behind the counter, though I would only count on pouches as most don't carry the tubs. When I was still living in the area, the best bet for the tubs was actually out on one of the Indian...

    First Smoke In Six Weeks!

That is a bummer, Frank. I'm lucky that I can smoke inside... and also lucky that Philly tends to be moderate enough that I can often smoke outside if I wanted to. I'll stick to the comfort of my office though.

The idea of pouring water up? down? my nose has always terrified me. I know many that swear by it, but I just can't bring myself to do it.

    Mylar bags

Transferred all of my bulk stuff into Mylar. I package in 4 or 8 oz. amounts and heat seal. No issues. Spend the money on well made bags.
