    Cellar Depression

As a guy who probably averages 2 bowls a week my 30-40 pound cellar feels nothing but glorious. It holds enough variety to keep me entertained for decades and enough stock of my favorites to provide a lifetime of comfort. No regrets whatsoever. Anybody remember this picture? I don't remember...

A Question As Old As Time

Anyone who has read A Study in Scarlet knows that the correct answer is the fabled Arcadia Mixture. "It was now that I approached him with the Arcadia Mixture. I seldom recommend the Arcadia to men whom I do not know intimately, lest in the after-years I should find them unworthy of it. But...

Do You Really Ever Mention Your Favorites?

I think I just randomly stumbled across it while googling the blend once. Seattle Pipe Club tin art can be printed on various kinds of posters and many other items on zazzle or Redbubble.

What'yd You Get For Father's Day?

My wife asked about a week ago if there was anything in particular that I wanted for fathers day. I suggested that she pick up a new wire brush for scrubbing the grill and I order some tobacco. She took the bait and I placed an order with tobacco pipes this morning. I haven't bought any tobacco...

In Search of the Albacore by Joanne Baade Epic adventure indeed.

    Anyone Else Disappointed?

I'm fine with it. Just ordered a pound of ODF RR from tobacco pipes for 10% off. Woooohooo! Happy fathers day to me! Seems to me like most of the best sales come later in the year. Labor Day usually has some good ones.

    Any Toscano Fans?

Toscano cigars are good but you can't beat the MUWAT (My Uzi Weighs A Ton) Kentucky Fired Cured cigars from Drew Estates.

So It Has Come To This.....

Looks like a pipe for smoking the "other" leaf to me.

    Plug Cut Old Dark Fired??

It was a limited release. Of the three presentations I prefer the user friendly ready rubbed. To me it tastes identical to the flake and is easiest to deal with.

    S.A.D.

Thoughts On MB HH Latakia Flake And HH Balkan?

I found latakia flake to be quite boring. I guess I just like my latakia blends with more "other" flavors in the mix.

Why Do Good Retailers Go To Surepost???

I certainly don't. With two small businesses, three young kids, and about a dozen other hobbies competing for my attention putting time and/or energy into stressing over a tobacco delivery date is way off my radar. Getting my hands on something delicious to stuff in my bowl is never an issue and...

My First Savinelli Pipe. (Help me Decide)

I find the 623 to be a much better clencher than the 673 with roughly the same shape.

What Should We Buy Before the Door Closes?

Thanks for the explanation Sable. What I'm wondering is how expensive and time consuming it will be for a manufacturer to get a blend through the deeming process. Are we talking about submitting a simple application and paying a nominal processing fee or paying hundreds of thousands and fighting...

    McClelland: A Philosophical Question

Frog bashing aside, there is some interesting conversation here. I'm someone who gravitates toward sweet latakia blends and have always really liked all of the Frogs. I have a bunch of tins and never hesitate to crack one open when the mood strikes. My McClelland VA and VA/Per stash, however...

    An Interesting Find.....

Looks like a Honeywort (Cerinthe major) seed. Let us know how it smokes.
