    And So It Begins

Pro Tip: Grill or smoke your bacon strips or Atomic Buffalo Turds on the rack directly above a fat pan of Dutch's Wicked Baked Beans. The beans both catch the grease and keep the bacon from catching on fire. Win-win.

TIN or BULK … That’s the question [eh].

I'd say it depends on the blend. I found bulk My Mixture 965 to suck compared to the tinned version but can't tell the difference between bulk and tinned Old Dark Fired. A lot of great blends are only available as one or the other so you would be missing out on some real gems if you only bought...

    Sutliff Bulk

I can't believe nobody has mentioned Aromatic English #504C. It makes a great substitute for the long lost Shortcut To Mushrooms. Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only one on here who smokes it.

    Favorite Bulk Aromatics?

Sutliff Aromatic English #504C. Fantastic stuff.

    Infinity Jars

Mine is labeled Riff Raff and it rarely gets any action. Seems that there is always something else I'd rather smoke.

Today, April 21, is Bulldogs Are Beautiful Day

Nice looking pipes guys. It's fun to see the variety out there. I have an Ardor bulldog beautifully refurbished by Steve Laug that I've been thinking about selling. Check out the full refurb job here and shoot me a PM if interested.

    Respect My Procrastination

I feel your procrastination pain as I'm still kicking myself for letting this Ardor acorn slip through my fingers at least a year ago or more. The one that got away … I won't make this mistake again.

Hard To Find Blends Available Here

The bags of penzance are $120 because one of the regulars was caught buying them for $70 and immediately reselling them on ebay for $120 back in 2018. The owner didn't like them being flipped over to the secondary market so he raised his price to match the going rate at large as a means of...

I call BS on the cob! I've dropped cobs in the ocean several times and they always float.

Hard To Find Blends Available Here

It's all relative. At $20.77 a tin you're still not very far off of $1 per bowl, a bowl that provides around an hour of smoking pleasure. Even with the marked up San Francisco shop prices and taxed at 70% pipe tobacco is an amazing value compared to just about everything else I blow my hard...

Hard To Find Blends Available Here

I pop into Telford's a few times a year when traveling through the area. It's the only genuine tobacconist I've ever been to (no vape gear, glass pipes/bongs, crack torches, etc.) and it's always a real treat to pick through their stash and enjoy a bowl in the lounge or on a rocker out on the...

Bored So I Made A Top 3 Blend Categorization Spreadsheet

    HH ODF 16oz Flakes

I've been thinking this same thing as ODF is pretty much all I want to smoke lately. I haven't pulled the trigger yet because I really like it fresh and don't know if dark fired leaf mellows with age like latakia does. If it does then maybe it would be better to age Bold Kentucky in my...

    HH ODF 16oz Flakes

In the box is a beautiful slab of flakes wrapped in gold foil. The foil wrapped slab is "sealed" in a zip lock style plastic bag. I jarred mine. The shape of a flakes is about 4 3/4" x 1" so they don't fit perfectly in a jar without cutting.

What Are Your Favorite Aromatic Blends

Trout Stream, Blue Note, and Edward G Robinson's are pretty much the only aro's I smoke these days. Shortcut to Mushrooms was a favorite. Sutliff Aromatic English #504C is in the same ballpark.

Peterson Deluxe 20s With Some Flame!

Sweet lookin' pipe, Brobs! Congrats on the new addition to your Pete family. I'm sure she'll smoke like a champ. Please excuse my Peterson ignorance but I just have to ask ... I don't understand the gap between the base of the stem and the shank that I often see on Peterson pipes. Does the...

Vintage Gamers: What is Wrong Here?

That doesn't look like a NES cartridge to me. Too small. More like Super NES size.
