This. Quarantine has run me clean out of things to be annoyed by, so I jump at every opportunity and this is one. Somebody go color for god sake. I doubt these stay on the shelf long enough for that to be of any concern.I was debating asking smoking pipes how long they keep those on the shelf before deemed no good.
I was wondering if they also might keep them in a humidity controlled area, like where they store their cigar supply?I doubt these stay on the shelf long enough for that to be of any concern.
That could very well be. I wondered that as well if their warehouse was humidity controlled.I was wondering if they also might keep them in a humidity controlled area, like where they store their cigar supply?
I was thinking about buying 5-10 pounds of ODF to cellar
I've got ODF from 2012. Haven't noticed any softening or loss of taste.I've been thinking this same thing as ODF is pretty much all I want to smoke lately. I haven't pulled the trigger yet because I really like it fresh and don't know if dark fired leaf mellows with age like latakia does. If it does then maybe it would be better to age Bold Kentucky in my apocalypse bunker so I'll have something that tastes like fresh Old Dark Fired when the zombies take over.
Anybody know how these two blends change with age?
Does aged BK = fresh ODF?
