An Interesting Find.....

So today I finally got around to jarring some recent bags of Esoterica I’d purchased. I popped open a bag of Penzance (oh, that aroma!) and proceeded to jar it up.

On the last jar, I was using the tray that comes in the bag to dump the remaining flakes into the jar, when I spotted something unusual swimming around in the flake remnants.

It was.....a pebble....wtf? I’ve found sticks, stems, and everything in between in tobacco tins, but rocks? Thats a first for me. The way I see it, Mr. Germain owes me 1/10th of a bowl of penzance! Scale tipping Scallywags! I’ll not be shamboozled!!!!

Wow, it does! Pretty sure this is a rock though. If it’s anything like the rest of the penzance I’ve had, it will be wonderful. Not gonna take anyone higher than pterodactyl tits like the street prices would dictate, but a fine blend.

Well worth the $40 I paid for the bag for sure though.

This has happened to me with espresso from Italy- Almost broke my Burr Grinder - I wasn't too happy. Also didn't know tobacco comes in those plastic cookie trays... Wondering if that can degrade over years inside the bag if someone keeps new old stock...?
