I was considering the 673 for a while but thought it seemed a bit big and heavy. It's good to know you think it an excellent clencher.

I find the 623 to be a much better clencher than the 673 with roughly the same shape.

I would look at the 602 also.
It was my first Sav and step up from a cob to a briar pipe.
It is very light, utilitarian and comfortable bent pipe.
Has a pretty decent draw, I removed the balsa filter.
It is also very affordable and has a decent size chamber, clenches well.
Just my two cents...

I have recently picked up three new Savinelli. I anticipate these to fit right into my rotation as work horses. I'm coming for ya embers! :ROFLMAO:

904's & 127 shapes.
Ah, but you're only at the 904 stage. Wait until you find out about 9004s, 914s, and 9005s.? Then again, most of mine are 50+ years old, and most were under $30.?
