4 Year Old G.L. Pease Montgomery

Haven't been on here much lately because I haven't smoked. Don't know why that was a thing. Anyway, I'm back to taking a whole day to finish a bowl and got an urge for a good Virginia. G.L. Pease doesn't do anything bad in my book, so I figured this was a sure thing. I was right. Tobacco looks...

    Ha! Hobi1dog Is Back!

Good to see you back hobie! Sorry to hear about your health issues. We've had our fair share of them in the last couple of years. The wife got diagnosed with Charcot Marie Tooth disease a couple of years ago, super rare form of muscular dystrophy that is the result of the FIG 4 gene mutation. As...

    Estate/Salt Treatment question

One thing I've found helps is to smoke a few bowls of a dry burley blend. Usually helps to bust nasty ghosts. Barring that, only other thing I can think of is to ream the inside of the bowl back to bare wood. Hope that helps!!

5 Hour ER Visit. (Moderately Graphic Photos)

Reminds me of a time I was cutting bell peppers at work. Not paying attention to what I was doing and took the tip of my thumb clean off. That was no fun. Hope you heal soon

    Kendal Kentucky vs Dark Birdseye?

Before I lost a boatload of weight and had the nicotine tolerance of the marlboro man, I loved both of these. DBE has a more subtle flavor and a little less vitamin n, but the KK has a punch that can't be beat. I enjoyed them both immensely.

No Friends During A PAD Attack

Gotta be honest, I'm not digging the shape, looks kind of off to me, and I'm with you on being a Danish freehand nut, so that's rare for me. The stem, however, is gorgeous. Take the stem off that and put it on a different pipe and I'm a happy guy! Seriously though, congrats. I'm sure it will...

    Cornell and Diehl Lunchtime Blues

I smoke so much Cornell and Diehl and enjoy so many of their blends that honestly, at this point, they could probably stuff horse turds in a tin and I'd smoke it (For the record, I totally would not do that. But it sounded good.) If you've smoked any number of Cornell and Diehl burley blends...

My Own Wonderful Experience With Pulvers Briar

I know someone recently posted about a great experience with Pulvers Briar, and as a result, I had to check out his site for myself. I went shopping for a birthday gift and found two pipes on his site that I really liked, an old Bjarne Freehand and a Stanwell Danish Star. Got them both for a...
